Though now having an issue where the new characters won't adhere to the Sorting Map and resize accordingly when walking. To put it simply, figured out how to animate characters within it using instructions from other threads in this forum. Personally, it feels like the most natural way to animate characters within Unity, without having to buy another animation software and use two programs, etc. Creating a new game and have been using Unity's new 2D animation package.
